Les gens ont tendance à confondre 2 notions fondamentales : L’honnêteté dans les affaires et la morale en société.
Je crois fortement que les entrepreneurs doivent suivre une formation comme la formation militaire pour oublier l’esprit civile tout comme les militaires.
Retiens bien ceci : L’intégrité dans les affaires est totalement différente de la morale en société.
La première fois que j’ai licencié une personne dans mon entreprise, j’étais hyper stressé, je me sentais mal, je me souviens que je m’étais mis à la place de cet employé et je me demandais comment elle allait faire pour payer son loyer, nourrir sa famille etc…
6 mois après avoir licencié cette personne, je continuais à lui envoyer de l’argent, car je me sentais coupable d’avoir mis à la porte une personne incompétente.
3 ans plus tard, j’étais dans mon bureau quand j’ai reçu une plainte, de l’inspection du travail :
La sœur de cette ancienne employée était devenue directrice de l’inspection du travail et donc elle m’avait convoqué et m’avait convoqué car, pour elle j’avais mal fait de licencier sa sœur :
Au final, il m’était demandé de payer 10millions de Fcfa environ de dommages pour une personne qui avait travaillé pendant moins de 4 mois dans mon entreprise .
Mon ancien employé témoignait contre moi avec les propos les plus fous. J’étais présenté comme un patron dictateur et sans cœur par cette personne que je nourrissait pendant plus de 6mois après l’avoir licencié.
Le comble, c’est qu’elle avait même retourné le bien que je faisais contre moi : D’après elle, si je continuais à lui envoyer de l’argent c’est parce que je me sentais coupable du point de vue légal.
Pendant quelques temps, j’étais en colère face cette ingratitude, puis je me suis dit qu’elle avait raison..
J’avais confondu l’intégrité dans les affaires avec la morale en société : Je voulais être un homme bon du point de vue de la société , au lieu d’être un patron sérieux et je l’ai payé très cher.
Lors de ma 1ère faillite, je partais pleurnicher devant ma banque tout le temps, j’étais effrayé à l’idée de manquer à un paiement : Il m’arrivait de privé ma famille de nourriture pour payer la banque en premier car je voulais être un homme intégre.
Encore une fois, je ne faisais pas la différence entre morale en société et intégrité dans les affaires.
Les banques possèdent des assurances et sont couvertes en cas de faillite de leurs clients. J’étais donc entrain de me détruire et détruire mon entreprise pour faire bonne figure devant des gens qui n’en avaient rien à faire de moi.

Qu’est ce que ça signifie ???
Prenons un exemple simple : Tu as une dette de 10millions et tu promets de rembourser à tes créanciers à une date précise.
Parce que tu es un homme de parole, si tu réussi à générer les 10millions, tu iras donner la totalité à ton créancier pour avoir bonne conscience, car on t’a appris qu’il faut être un homme de parole.
Un homme de décision ne fera jamais ça : Quand bien même, il a obtenu les 10millions, il n’ira pas sacrifier son entreprise juste pour avoir bonne conscience : Il ira voir son créancier et lui proposera d’étaler le remboursement en échange d’une augmentation de la dette : Aulieu de 10millions, il proposera de rembourser 11 millions, en échange d’un délai plus long.
Dans un premier cas, vous avez l’homme de parole qui a remboursé sa dette et qui a fermé son entreprise.
Dans le deuxième cas, vous avez l’homme de décision qui a remboursé sa dette et à continuer à opérer.
Lequel des deux est intelligent ???????
C’est difficile d’aborder ce genre de sujets en publique car nous avons tous été élevés par les principes moraux de la société et ça paraît quasiment malsain d’accepter cette réalité.
Malheureusement, je parle par expérience : La morale en société n’a rien à voir avec l’intégrité dans les affaires :
